Action Alert: Tell Congress to Fix the Caregiver and Choice Programs!

Background: House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs Chairman Phil Roe, M.D., has introduced H.R. 5674, the VA MISSION Act of 2018, which is the culmination of hard work by members of the House and Senate Committees on Veterans’ Affairs to make significant improvements to benefits and services for veterans. This important bipartisan bill would consolidate and improve the VA Choice Program, improve VA’s ability to hire and retain high-quality health care professionals, finally expand caregiver benefits to pre-9/11 veterans, and establish a process to evaluate and improve VA buildings across the country to better serve veterans.
Take Action: Contact your members of Congress and urge them to cosponsor and swiftly pass the important and urgently needed VA MISSION Act of 2018.
